Business growth beyond sales and marketing - Accelerate Business Group

Creating a Profitable Business and Lifelong Customers

The world is full of crap marketing. That’s your opportunity.

By Jim Logan • May 31st, 2007 • Category: Other Lead Generation Stuff

There's one thing you have to give the Internet: low cost software, self-help kiosks, and discount printing – it spawns at ton of bad marketing materials and campaigns.

Lame flyers, bad business cards, sales letters without a point, cheesy taglines, nonsensical logos, confusing corporate identities, pointless announcements, etc. The world is full of really bad marketing.

But it's cheap.

The barrier is extremely low to produce a website, write a blog, print brochures, mail letters, disperse flyers, print cards, etc. Everyone and anyone in business can do it. That's the problem. People without a clue do it.

Like the guy who picks his nose at the red light, we see you. And it's gross.

One the one hand, the low barrier means there is a lot of clutter and crap we have to sift through. On the other hand, the norm is so pathetically low, it’s easier today to stand above the majority in quality of content and message.

Your opportunity is to not produce crap. So don't.
